Kung Fu Panda

Slitscan version of Kung Fu Panda - images, colorspace, saturation, and brightness

Continuing on my theme of analyzing color in animated films, here is Kung Fu Panda with some extra rows.

The top row is a slit scan of the entire movie. The next three rows are hue, saturation and lightness (HSL) of the film. They are generated by analyzing each full frame of the film (at DVD resolution), then creating a single column of pixels that represents the results. The Hue row shows all the hues in the frame with their intensity determined by total pixels of that hue. The Saturation and Lightness rows show how saturated or light the whole frame is.
