October 29, 2007 – Kodak Junior Six-20

This is an image through the viewfinder of a Kodak Junior Six-20 camera (circa the mid 1930’s). You look down through a second lens to aim the camera, so the view here also shows the main lens and shutter. The camera belonged to my father-in-law, who unfortunately I never had the honor to meet.

It is a beautifully simple instrument – more images of it to come. I am ordering a few rolls of black and white 620 film – the camera is in fine working condition, and it will be great fun shooting with it.
