We took our CMU ETC students on a field trip to learn more about the Bay Area – and how better than from a couple thousand feet overhead. Airship Ventures to the rescue! We took off from Oakland, headed over the Bay Bridge, past SF, around Angel Island and back to OAK.

We have two teams out here this semester, and as is customary I shoot team photos at the beginning and the end of the term. I went for an album cover look this time. Shot in a hallway at EA with plenty of natural backlighting from the windows and fill light from a flash. Processed heavily in Lightroom. I loved their attitudes!
